SudoKu Master Privacy Policy

Published by Jasper & Kysh, the two developers of SudoKu Master.
Applies to the iOS, macOS and Android versions of the app.

The short version: SudoKu Master does not collect anything about you. The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no server of ours. Everything it remembers stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us. We do not operate a server, and the app does not upload your data anywhere.

The app saves the following on your device only, so the game can pick up where you left off:

• Your game in progress — the board, your pencil notes, elapsed time and mistake count.
• Completed puzzle records — difficulty, level, how long it took, and the date.
• Progress and achievements — unlocked lessons and techniques, Puzzle Journey progress, streaks, badges, and daily free-puzzle counts.
• Your settings — appearance and colours, sound and haptics, and the play-style rules.
• Your subscription status, once a subscription exists — see below.

This data never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it. We cannot see it, recover it, or transfer it to a new device for you.

Purchases

Version 1.0 offers no purchases. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no paid content in the current release; every feature described in the app is available without paying, within the daily free limits shown in the app. A future version may add an optional subscription, "SudoKu Master Pro", sold through the platform's own store (Apple's App Store on iPhone, iPad and Mac; Google Play on Android if it is ever offered there). If and when that happens, this is how it will work:

• Apple handles the transaction, not us. Payment, billing and renewals happen between you and the store. We never receive your name, email address, card number or billing address, and we never see your Apple Account.
• We have no purchase server. The app asks the store directly whether the subscription is active, and trusts the store's own signed answer.
• Subscription status is cached on your device. The app stores the identifiers of the products you own (for example the yearly plan) locally, so your access still works when you are offline. It is a short list of product identifiers — no receipt, no account details. Every refresh overwrites it, so a subscription that has lapsed loses access again.

The store would give us only anonymous, aggregated sales and subscription reports. These count purchases; they do not identify individual customers. This section will be updated when a subscription is actually offered.

Data we do not collect

• No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, no email address, no profile.
• No location. The app never asks for or uses your location.
• No contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The app does not request access to any of them.
• No analytics or crash reporting. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting SDK, and no usage tracking of any kind in the app.
• No advertising identifiers and no tracking. The app does not track you, and does not share anything with data brokers or ad networks.

The only links that leave the app are ones you tap yourself — the credits and legal links — and those open in your browser.

Children

SudoKu Master is a puzzle game suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. There is no chat, no user-generated content, and no way for a player to share information through the app.

Future changes

We are considering adding optional rewarded ads — short videos you could choose to watch in exchange for an extra practice puzzle or an extra use of Auto Notes. They are not in the app today. Watching would always be voluntary; we do not plan forced or interruptive ads.

If rewarded ads ship, an advertising provider would be involved and would receive its own device information. We will update this policy before that version is released, describe exactly what the provider receives, and publish it at a versioned address so the privacy link inside each build points to the policy that build shipped with. The Changes table below records every revision.
